Rent arrears have been steadily rising and with the onset of housing benefit payments direct to tenant proposed under the Universal Credit system there has never been a time when robust and watertight possession cases have been more urgent.
Possession is a long tortuous game of snakes and ladders where a claim can be knocked back on a small unnoticed technicality. This course is designed to limit the chances of that happening be increasing delegates knowledge of the various forms, paperwork and legal defences that come into play.

Course participants will be taken through the full eviction process from warning letters right through to the lock change and beyond. They will leave the day with a sound knowledge of the different defences that are often raised in possession claims and how to approach them and persuade the court of the landlord’s argument
