What are workshops?
Our workshops are small classes (generally between 10-20 attendees) where the trainer is able to give more focused and detailed training on specific issues.
As the classes are small, there is much more scope for discussion and interaction, both within the group and with the trainer. People generally find them very rewarding.

Analysis and Notices
Topics covered will include - working out which type of claim is best for you, tenancy deposit issues, section 8 notices, section 21 notices

Bringing proceedings and afterwards
Topics covered will include - drafting up the paperwork (accelerated and standard claims), dealing with defences, attending hearings, enforcement issues
Note - this course will only cover standard claims for possession using mandatory grounds - we will touch on defences but this course will not look at defended claims in any detail or using the discretionary grounds.
If there is time there will be a practical exercise.
Venue details
The Assembly House is a beautiful building in the heart of Norwich. We will be in the Pearce Room.
There is car parking at the venue (pay and display) plus an adjacent public car park.
Facilities will include:
- Free-flowing tea and coffee from the hostess station
- Simple sandwich lunch (vegetarians catered for)
- Afternoon break with tea and coffee and cake
- Free wi fi
Note – if you are not local there are several hotels and guest houses in Norwich, including a large Travelodge and some rather lovely apartments (details provided on request). NB Norwich is 2 hours out of Liverpool St Station if you are travelling via London.

Cancellations and refunds
If you find you are no longer able to attend we will give a full refund provided you let us know within 14 days of the date of booking, and provided that the cancellation is not within the last seven days before the course date.
In view of the financial commitments we will have to make to the venue we will only give refunds for cancellations during the final seven days before the course date, at our discretion.
Finally please note that if payment is not made within 14 days of invoice or within 7 days of the course date (whichever is the earlier) we reserve the right to cancel your booking and allocate your place to another delegate, after giving you not less than 24 hours notice.
