What are workshops?

Our workshops are small classes (generally between 10-20 attendees) where the trainer is able to give more focused and detailed training on specific issues.

As the classes are small, there is much more scope for discussion and interaction, both within the group and with the trainer. People generally find them very rewarding.

  • AM

Topics covered will include - Leases and typical management arrangements (freehold & leasehold, tripartite leases, managing agents, right to manage companies), Service charges
    Management obligations, Insurance

  • PM

    Potential issues & claims

Getting the money in, Dealing with, and bringing, challenges (county court, First-tier Tribunal (Property Chamber) & Leasehold Valuation Tribunal)

The management of a block of flats is often tricky and there are many legal issues to consider. This course will identify those issues and how to deal with them. It is essential for managing agents and for freeholders and leaseholders of flats alike so that they know what their obligations are and what they are entitled to.
