First – getting there:
The workshop will take place on 14 September 2017 at the Enterprise Centre, University of East Anglia just outside Norwich. You can see its location in the Google map on your right.
If you will need parking can you please go to the main Enterprise Centre building and ask at reception. Say that you are on the Easy Law Training Workshop. You will then be given a permit – note that the parking (unless you have asked for disabled parking) will be about 5 minutes walk away so please allow time for this.
I have agreed with the centre that all delegates will be entitled to the parking – they will total up the number of permits given and just invoice us for this later, so do not worry if you have not specifically booked.
Note – if you are booking hotel accommodation for this event, please contact us to confirm that the event is going ahead, as occasionally we do have to cancel. Be aware that we cannot be held responsible for any expenses incurred if this happens.
Second – the day:
The workshop will start at 10.30 am with registration from 10.00 am. Graeme Gee will be there and will deal with any admin issues or queries you may have.
There will be two comfort breaks of 1/2 hour and one hour is allowed for lunch. All refreshments are included, which will include tea and coffee and a sandwich lunch.
If you want to bring your laptop or ipad, there is free wi fi provided.
We will provide course notes on the day.
The workshop will end at 4.30 pm.
Third – about the speaker:
Robert is a barrister at Arden Chambers, a specialist housing law set.
He advises and represents both landlords and tenants, in the county courts and in the First-tier Tribunal (Property Chamber) (formerly the Leasehold Valuation Tribunal).
He has lectured and provided training on a wide range of landlord and tenant topics and is an editor of the Housing Law Reports.
