Welcome to the home page of the workshop course. Here you will find some preliminary information about your course.
First – getting there:
The workshop will take place at The Union Building, Rose Lane in Norwich. You can see its location in the Google map on your right. We will be in the training room at Aston Shaw’s offices which are on the third floor.
If you want to drive – parking is available in the Rose Lane multi story car park nearby. The venue is a 10-15 minute walk from the station or you can get a taxi.
Note – if you are booking hotel accommodation for this event, please contact us to confirm that the event is going ahead, as occasionally we do have to cancel. Be aware that we cannot be held responsible for any expenses incurred if this happens.
Second – the day:
The workshop will start at 10.30 am with registration from 10.00 am. Graeme Gee will be there as well as the speaker and will deal with any admin issues or queries you may have.
There will be two comfort breaks of 1/2 hour and one hour is allowed for lunch. All refreshments are included, which will include tea and coffee and a sandwich lunch.
If you want to bring your laptop or ipad, there is free wi fi provided.
We will provide course notes on the day.
The workshop will end at 4.30 pm.
Third – about the speaker:
Philip Hunt is a specialist tax adviser from accountancy firm Aston Shaw who are sponsoring this event.
Philip advises clients on all aspects of taxation, including: practical planning for wills, trusts, inheritance tax, personal tax, capital gains tax, residence and domicile issues, employment status issues as well as reviewing the tax strategies for individual businesses and business structures.
