Welcome to the home page of the workshop course. Here you will find some preliminary information about your course.
First – getting there:
The workshop will take place at the Enterprise Centre, University of East Anglia just outside Norwich. You can see its location in the Google map on your right.
If you want to drive – free parking is available but you MUST book this with us in advance. Parking is in short supply at UEA and if you do not book your parking with us first you will need to pay and may find that no parking is available for you.
If you would like a parking place, please email [email protected] and put in a request.
Note – if you are booking hotel accommodation for this event, please contact us to confirm that the event is going ahead, as occasionally we do have to cancel. Be aware that we cannot be held responsible for any expenses incurred if this happens.
Parking information and instructions – if you have booked parking
Please see the >> map here and also the location and travel link on your right.
You will need a physical parking permit which unfortunately it is not possible to email to you. So you will need to briefly park up adjacent to the Enterprise Centre building, come into the reception to collect the permit and then drive to the UEA Village (which is marked on the >> map). Once having parked up at the Village and displayed the permit in your windscreens you will need to walk back to The Enterprise Centre. It’s approximately a 7 minute walk. If anyone should have any difficulties they can call the front of house desk on 01603 591366.
Parking in the venue car park itself is very limited but if you are disabled please contact us as we may be able to arrange this for you.
Second – the day:
The workshop will start at 10.30 am with registration from 10.00 am. Graeme Gee will be there as well as Tessa Shepperson and will deal with any admin issues or queries you may have.
There will be two comfort breaks of 1/2 hour and one hour is allowed for lunch. All refreshments are included, which will include tea and coffee and a sandwich lunch.
If you want to bring your laptop or ipad, there is free wi fi provided.
We will provide course notes on the day.
The workshop will end at 4.30 pm.
