What are workshops?

Our workshops are small classes (generally between 10-20 attendees) where the trainer is able to give more focused and detailed training on specific issues.

As the classes are small, there is much more scope for discussion and interaction, both within the group and with the trainer. People generally find them very rewarding.

Guiding you through the maze

The law relating to the repair of rented properties and the respective rights of landlords and tenants is enormously complicated.

It is found within not less than three separate statutes and numerous different regulations - and ignoring the rules can result in both civil and criminal liability.

It is a difficult area of law.

To help guide you through this legal maze we have specialist housing barrister Peter Marcus who will explain how it all fits together.

He will illustrate his talk with actual examples of disrepair cases he has been involved in, and discuss with you how all this affects YOUR properties.

Note - this course will also be very suitable for social housing landlords & their staff
