Patrick and I attended a Business to Business Exhibition recently and one of the people we met there was from the Enterprise Centre at the UEA which opened last year.
Rather excitingly this is one of the most sustainable buildings in the country (built to the Passivhaus standard) using local building materials such as Thetford timber, and Norfolk straw and heather – in total 80% natural material, including thatch, timber and cellulose. So not your usual office block. It even has thatch on the outside walls!
It is am amazing building as you can see from our photos above and also from the website. It was built to provide an inspirational workspace for local businesses (most of the office space is fully let) and it is also used by students. It has a great atmosphere and when we visited it recently we felt very much at home there.
So we are delighted to announce that we will be using the Enterprise Centre for some of our workshops. Starting with my workshop on Tenancy Agreements on 1 February. Click here to find out more.
